You can then go back to Eugene and report back to him. When his affection level is high enough again, talk to Emily and ask for advice about Eugene and Lucy. Ask him questions about what happened and then speak to the students with exclamation points above their heads. He'll tell you that his portfolio was stolen and your character will offer to help. Go talk to him in the computer room again. Once his affection level is high enough, you'll receive another text message from him asking for help. Once you've taken them all, he'll thank you over text. Your character will offer to help, and he'll ask you to take three photos for him: one of Chuck, one of Petey, and one of Landon. When you talk to him again, he'll mention that he's busy. Once you've gotten the magazine, return to Eugene and give it to him. She'll have an exclamation point over her head and can be found in the hallways during school.
After this, he'll ask you to get his photography magazine back from his friend, Lucy.
Make sure you say that you like it, because saying otherwise will cause his affection level to decrease. The next time you talk to him, he'll ask for your opinion on his photo. He'll leave the computer room to bring his photos to Miss Trimbull, so you won't be able to talk to him again until he's back, or until the next day. When you walk in, there will be a scene where he tells you to stop moving so he can take a photo of you, and then, you'll tell him about Miss Trimbull. He's in room 104, which is a small room to the left of the gymnasium. After your first day of class, Miss Trimbull will ask that you find Eugene.
